DIRT FLIRT is the debut self-titled EP from London-based alt-pop artist Dirt Flirt (aka Kit Eaton-Kent). Across the project, Eaton-Kent explores the playful side of vulnerability through the lens of a queer person in their early 20s.
Sonically, Dirt Flirt is a genre-fluid journey. "Boyfriend" evokes the warmth of a bittersweet 2000s summer memory, while "Necklace" and "Don’t Go" delve into darker territory, channeling the atmospheric edge of artists like Artemas and 070 Shake. "Dramatic" lives in a more alternative world, but the catchy melodic hooks make it unmistakably Dirt Flirt. Then there’s "Bodycount" — the EP’s emotional curveball and certified crying-in-the-club anthem.
With this debut, Dirt Flirt becomes a refreshing new voice in alt-pop, introducing a signature sound that is as thrilling, curious, and magnetic as the coming-of-age experience itself.
