"buttonss," the lead single from Madge's upcoming mixtape is a highly energetic speedrush

Fresh off the release of “rabits,” which garnered the #1 spot on Spotify’s Hyperpop Playlist, rising pop singer-songwriter Madge (Pussy Riot, Portugal. The Man) has returned with a new single, “buttonss,” a highly energetic speedrush. The song was co-written with the Moscow-born, Bay Area-bred artist Tzar (K. Flay, Zeds Dead). The track is taken from Madge’s recently announced debut EP, ravepack, which will be released on July 14, 2023.

On their upcoming album, Madge said “ravepack is pop from the dungeon, an exploration of adorable meets f*cked up in the post-Soviet underground. I was 90 percent sad and 10 percent raving when I made these songs, produced by Grandbankss and co-written with Tzar. Between each track is an interlude that I created myself DJ-style so the mixtape translates as one continuous set to feel existential dread to.

The "buttonss" release show at Purgatory in Brooklyn, NY was also featured in NYLON's event round-up for that weekend!
