"Glamour Girl" the latest ripper from Um, Jennifer? drops with a music video and a sold out single release show at Purgatory

"Glamour Girl" is about relationship patterns. It’s about beauty, charm, and how we delude ourselves. - Um, Jennifer?

70s Lou Reed meets a lovestruck Bikini Kill on Glamour Girl, the latest single from New York band Um, Jennifer? aka trans duo and friends Elijah Scarpati and Fig Regan. It’s a taster for their upcoming EP titled The Girl Class which is set for release on the 5th of April.

Glamour Girl looks at some of the dangers and desires of being in love, those little details that draw you in even as you can see some warning signs. The charm-filled and punky take on dreampop just adds to the sense of everything being carefree, and maybe a bit careless, and that is ultimately what gives the song such bite. - Analogue Trash
